We jumped on one of those hop on/hop off (well then I guess we hopped on) buses. This is the Telekom tower at Alexander Platz decorated in honor of the World Cup. It's one of the largest structures in Europe. The total length to the top of the spire is 1197 ft. It was built in 1969.
